Ahmadinejad is STUPID!

ksl.com - US walks out on Ahmadinejad's UN speech

Irianian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is stupid. He makes these statements about the United States that are so far off the wall I can't believe that he even believed himself! So I've decided to start making outrageous statements about him. (I can't do much worse than him, right?). So here goes.

President Mahmoud "I'm-a-nut-job" is a closet homosexual. (I don't mean any offense to homosexuals out there.) Look at his facial hair, seriously? The problem is that he's so afraid of his own people that he'll probably never see this. I would sure love to be on the other side when he finally kicks the bucket and see's that he really was one of the dumbest people on the planet. But the problem is that even then he still won't get it.

"I'm-a-nut-job" really should go hang out with his buddy Osama "Bin-not-doin-a-darn-thing-cause-I'm-a-coward" in whatever hole he's living in right now. If either of them really think they're better than us, why don't they show up themselves and prove it. There isn't a 12 year-old deer hunter in the west that wouldn't be able to pick off a guy with an ego so big that he could do it with iron sights at 1,000 yards!

Congress is STUPID!

ksl.com - Colbert tells Congress farm work 'really hard'

Congress calls on a well known comedian to testify on a subject other than his given profession. Uh... can someone please tell the Senators that he's a COMEDIAN!? It's no wonder that American is cleaning house with the Tea Party movement! Did the Senators really think that they would get a serious response out of him? Doesn't Congress have anything better to do with it's time? Seems like an awful waste of tax payer monies.

People are STUPID!

ksl.com - Group working to solve proximity issues with Camp Williams

I love this article. I've said it before and I'll say it again. People are not known for their high intelligence. Utah Army National Guard base Camp Williams has been in the SAME location since 1917! Are people really that stupid to think that the the Military that was there FIRST should move? HELLO you built your home near a MILITARY BASE!

I'm quite certain that Jennifer Loyd of Eagle Mountain hasn't been living at the border of Camp Williams since before 1917. Did she not know what happens on a military base? The same goes for people that build a house near Rail Road tracks and then complain when noisy trains go rumbling past. HELLO you built your house near RAIL ROAD TRACKS! Don't like the noise then you move! People who build homes near a prison then complain when criminals break out and plunder their homes and lives. HELLO you built your home near a PRISON!

Common Sense is called that because it's supposed to be "common". If you lack the common sense to know what's around the home you're building then you shouldn't be building a home.

People really can be stupid.

Mosque at Ground Zero

I think the Federal Government should FULLY fund the construction of the proposed Mosque at Ground Zero in New York with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. We need to show that corner of the world what it means to be AMERICAN. Show them that we're the adult in the relationship. We don't need to be giving them reasons to hate us any more than they already do.

If we don't allow them to build the Mosque then the Constitution of these United States of America has FAILED. Freedom of Religion is a freedom for ALL.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redressof grievances."

People who say the Mosque shouldn't be built in my opinion are NOT AMERICANS!

Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility

Today I figured out what to do with all those terrorists in Cuba. You find the most hostile enviornment inside the United States. I'm not talking about places like the desert, or an island, or such. I'm talking about finding a neighborhood where people absolutely do not want these people. That's where you put the prison.

Next you issue a shotgun and ammo to every home owner in a 5 mile radius of the prison with these instructions. "Shoot first, call second. When you run out of ammo training, bring the empty box in to be exchanged for a full box." You also give them a special, direct line phone number to a task force when they see suspuscious activity.

During prisioner orientation, you tell them all these things and say "Welcome to the second ammendment". No chance they will be planning a prison break.

I think I'm actually going to miss Sen. Kennedy

First of all I haven't been a fan of Sen. Kennedy over the years, and in this last year I found myself waiting for him to die.

Now that he's gone and as I've been listening to coverage on NPR about his legacy and such I find myself respecting him more and more. I heard the following story this morning and I couldn't help but find myself respecting the man.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=112323675

I find myself respecting his work ethic, even if I don't agree with everything he says. Made me sit and hope that all elected officials work as hard as him.

The other thing that amazed me about all the coverage, or the lack there of came in comparing his death to that of Michael Jackson. Sen. Kennedy did so much good for this county and what contribution did Michael Jackson give? How much coverage has been given to each of them? Why do we as Americans have our priorties so screwed up!

Sex Education in schools

I just saw a news story about how school boards are looking to have two sex education programs that parents can choose from. (http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=7331553) One would teach abstinance only, the other would be a conprehensive program. So this lady from Planned Parenthood was quoted as saying something like "Chlamydia is the No. 1 communicable disease in Utah". What she fails to note it that it is 100% preventable! It's really quite simple, teach students that there are consequences to ALL choices. Oh yeah and that you won't get an STD if you keep your pants up and zipped!

Is that really so difficult for teens to understand? Here's a novel idea, have guest speakers visit high school health classes, like adults that had pre-marital sex as teens and now suffer from the consequences. Teens will always make their own decisions no matter what you teach them, but maybe you'll presuade one to change their mind that that's worth it in my book. I say this because it may be my kid some day and most reasonable people when presented with correct information will make informed decisions.

What happened to holding people responsible for their actions? Why do parents let their kids do what ever they want and then not hold them responsible! I really think parents are more of the problem then the actual youth, because they don't teach them correct principles in the home. Parents have stopped parenting their children. It seems like parents are more interested in giving their kids everything they want under the guise that they didn't have what they wanted, so they'll let their kids live the life they wanted. Lack of responsibility, lack of dicipline, lack of concequences all contribute to the core problem.

Here's the final solution. Parents, GROW UP! Hold your kids responsible for their actions. WHAT A NOVEL CONCEPT! Or what if we made parents responsible for their kids actions. If the court can prove that the parent hasn't done their job in teaching the kids, they suffer the same consequences. Kid get's an STD, you loose your health insurance for the remainder of your life! Your kid has a kid, you pay child support for the rest of your life! Kid has to go to jail, you go to jail right along with them!
